About this performance
Witness the next generation of orchestral musicians in action as members of the 2024 MSO Academy collaborate with MSO violinist Tiffany Cheng to curate and perform this program alongside musicians of the MSO.
Each of our Academy members will be showcased in this dynamic concert, culminating in Martinů's inventive Les Rondes featuring all four.
Along the way you'll hear charming works written by Aaron Copland, Joe Chindamo OAM and Baroque composer Giuseppe Torelli. Anchoring the program is Mozart's dramatic String Quartet in G minor – one of the composer's finest examples of chamber music.
Join us for a delightful morning of exquisite music, performed by the rising stars of Melbourne's orchestra community.
